We invite students to participate in the Student Poster Presentations at the PASTE 2026. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your innovative work, share your learning experiences, and connect with an international community of educators, researchers, practitioners, and fellow students.

We welcome submissions focusing on transdisciplinary education and practice, particularly those that engage with transcultural (cross-cultural) and transectoral (cross-sector) contexts.


Submission Categories

We encourage submissions that spotlight (but are not limited to):

  • Academic Research: Original studies, literature reviews, or conceptual explorations in transdisciplinary education.
  • Innovation Project: Initiatives or prototypes demonstrating transdisciplinary collaboration, creative problem-solving, or new educational approaches.
  • Transcultural Experiences: Critical reflections on the impact of international exchanges, cross-cultural projects, or other immersive experiences that connect theory with global practice.
  • Applied Learning: Analyses of service-learning projects, cross-sectoral internships, or community partnerships that highlight skill development, stakeholder impact, and key professional insights.

Key Dates
  • Submission Deadline: 30 September 2026, 11:59 PM (Hong Kong Time, HKT)
  • Notification of Results: 20 October 2026, 07:00 PM (Hong Kong Time, HKT)
  • Poster Presentation Session: 26 November 2026
  • Closing & Award Ceremony: 27 November 2026

Eligibility
  • Open to all full-time and part-time undergraduate and postgraduate students from any discipline.
  • Students from diverse backgrounds and regions are especially encouraged to share their unique transdisciplinary experiences.

Content & Structure Guidelines

Your poster should clearly address the following core elements:

  1. Significance: Why does your topic matter?
  2. Objective(s): What did you hope to achieve?
  3. Approach and Methodology: How was your project, research, or learning experience designed and implemented?
  4. Key Findings and/or Implications: What are the main takeaways? What impact did your work/experience have? What are the next steps or broader implications?
  5. References/Acknowledgement (if any)

Format & Technical Requirements

Posters must be clear, visually engaging, and concise. Please adhere strictly to the following specifications:

  • Language: English
  • File Format: PDF (Single page only)
  • File Size: Less than (<) 10MB
  • Visuals: Text, diagrams, figures, and images only. Do not include videos.
  • Fonts: Use large, legible fonts suitable for viewing at a distance.
  • Colour Mode: RGB or CMYK accepted.
  • Layout & Size: A0 size, Portrait (Vertical) orientation
    • Width: 2348 pixels / 841 mm / 33.1 inches
    • Height: 3370 pixels / 1189 mm / 46.8 inches
    • Recommended Resolution: Minimum 150 dpi (300 dpi preferred for images and graphics).

Note: Failure to comply with these requirements may lead to the rejection of your submission.


Presentation at the Summit
  • At least one presenter should be present at the poster during the Poster Presentation Session on 26 November 2026.
  • Failure to attend may result in disqualification from award consideration.

Award
  • To recognise outstanding poster presentations, two awards will be presented:
    • Best Poster Award – Selected by a Review Panel comprising academic and professional experts.
    • Audience Choice Award – Selected through attendee voting during the Poster Presentation Session.
  • Award recipients will be announced during the Closing Ceremony on 27 November 2026. All participating students are encouraged to attend.
  • In the event of a tie in the audience vote, the Audience Choice Award will be shared among the tied teams.
