Our programme invited Mr Kevin Leung Yik Man, the Managing Director of Yiu Wing Live👨🏻💼, Hong Kong’s leading live production company with over 30 years of experience in stage performances.🎤 From producing concerts to artist management and exhibitions, Yiu Wing Live is a cornerstone of the local culture industry🌄
In his insightful talk, Yikman shared the entire flow of organizing a live concert, covering everything from finding artists and managing production lines to ticketing, marketing, and venue management. It was fascinating to see how they navigate the complexities of the entertainment industry! 🔍
In this saturated market, Yiu Wing Live has done something special to attract customers👁️—they held the biggest beach music festival in Hong Kong, featuring a specially designed large-scale sea park equipped with water slides and various water warfare toys, accommodating tens of thousands of music fans. 🤘🏻🏖️
Yikman emphasized that being a Managing Director requires a deep understanding of various aspects💭, including entertainment law, music production, construction, and financing.💲 Coincidentally, the BAGE curriculum covers multiple areas related to these aspects, equipping us with the knowledge needed to enter this industry! 🤩
