Join us this April for the 2nd Transdisciplinary Student Conference. On April 14, 16, 21, and 23, 2026, students will present their innovative solutions to complex real-world problems from a transdisciplinary perspective. In addition, a poster exhibition showcasing their projects will be held on May 14.

 

Presentation Run-down

The Pacific Asia Summit on Transdisciplinary Education (PASTE) gathers educators and students from the Pacific Asia region to facilitate dialogue and knowledge exchange amongst leading scholars, practitioners, and students. The summit promotes transcultural and transectoral collaboration in addressing complex challenges and serves as a platform to showcase innovative inter- and transdisciplinary approaches and research through interactive presentations and student poster presentations.

To support the need for transdisciplinary collaboration, this workshop presents “None of My Business?”, a cooperative board game created by the CoP TransdiscipiLink team at HKBU. Set after the collapse of the internet, the game puts players in the roles of experts working together to tackle major global challenges after the mysterious “Human Reset Initiative” begins. Success depends on teamwork, sharing resources, and solving problems together— all within 60 minutes! Faculty members will learn how to use the game to encourage transdisciplinary collaboration, especially for addressing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Join us to see how “None of My Business?” can create engaging and meaningful learning experiences!
